I printed out my claim statement and have it in a little frame beside my bed so it's the first thing I read in the morning and the last thing I read at night. I paraphrased a passage from page 10 of day 1 in our workbook to meet my needs. The whole passage is beautiful, but this is what I chose for myself:

"I am not broken; there is nothing wrong with me.
I need not remove, destroy, or tear anything out of myself in order to make something new.
My practice is to reawaken and cultivate that which is wise, strong and whole within my heart and spirit."

Somehow repeating that to myself twice daily has helped more than I ever would have imagined. Please feel free to use it if it works for you!

Has anyone else had people comment on noticing a change for the better? Everyone I've spoken to (family and friends) on the phone have all commented that my voice is back to normal. I guess I always sound like I'm smiling when I talk on the phone (???)  And in person people have commented that I seem more relaxed than I have in a long time. My speech is back to normal - before Hoffman I was having trouble remembering words or using the wrong one in a sentence, getting tongue-tied constantly. I haven't had that since leaving for Hoffman!

It hasn't been all sunshine and daisies, but the process certainly has given me hope for a better future.
