Dear Graduate,
For some of you returning home might have been a challenging time, or a peaceful time, or perhaps some exciting things have happened! Whatever your experience has been, you have, hopefully, experienced a new level of self-love and self-awareness.
Your awareness needs to be joined with compassion, not judgment. Awareness without empathy becomes what we call “awareness hell”. Your Process week was just the beginning of long-term, ongoing change. As you are integrating back into your
life, please do so with patience and loving kindness.
Remember the “dance of life” we spoke of in the Process? We go into patterns, we come back into presence – in and out, back and forth. This is the human experience. Each time you come back to center, you learn a bit more about how to do
that; you strengthen your skill in coming into presence. Use this week to build your resilience, the strength to bounce back from challenges and troubles. Take time to gift yourself by doing the things you love.
Today’s action step: Decide on one thing you can do this week that builds your resilience … and do it! For example:
·
Walk in nature
·
Listen to a favorite piece of music
·
Dance your socks off
·
Play with your kids
·
Call someone you love
·
Spend time with your pet
·
Get out the crayons or paint or …
·
Reach out to your buddy
·
Stride walk

Your next weekly honk will be sent on Monday!
