Well said Schoen!  The intellect loves to be in charge.  I find taking the time for the quad in the AM and the appreciate/grateful exercise at night are a big help.  Allow your spiritual self to be heard.

Warmest regards,
Denise

Dear Friends,

I am finally back online post-Hoffman after an 8 day silent meditation retreat and am just catching up on all of your messages and inspirations.

Laura, I have to keep reminding myself that it takes anywhere from 2 weeks to 60 days to rewire the brain, so one needs to be patient as your brain lays down new pathways that help us from going back into our well-worn patterns.

I am doing the Q check in daily, the appreciations and gratitudes, pre-cycling and re-cycling, as well as bashing. I went back to the original list of patterns in the pre-work and found a whole bunch more that I realize I do constantly, but which I wasn't aware of pre-program. While daunting, I do consider it progress that after the program I am much more self-aware (and uncomfortable and a little untethered — a la the Ekhart Tolle quote).

Be patient and kind with yourself and know that these things just take some time!

Warm wishes,
Schon

Love it! Happily, thoughts of what “they” think have been kept at bay. My dark side, however, is telling me “Hoffman was temporary, it can’t last in the real world. You can’t REALLY change.” I am feeling anxious and unsettled. I quad checked and recycled this morning. Took a long walk on the beach. I would appreciate any words of comraderie and encouragement y’all have to share! ❤️🌟
