Dear Graduate,
We all want joy in our lives. If you recall a moment of tremendous gratitude in your life, you are likely to discover that out of that moment of gratitude there arose a heart opening sensation of joyousness, and an experience of deep presence
to the given moment.
Gratitude begets joy. Joy begets gratitude. And both joy and gratitude beget presence. We could even say that presence begets joy and gratitude! Any one of these wonderful qualities of being gives rise to the other.
Cultivate gratitude! Make it a daily habit to do the gratitude and appreciation practice you learned during your Process week. It will change your life! The Benedictine Monk, Brother David Steindl-Rast, says,
“Most people feel happy when something good occurs, they may even feel grateful as a result. But in reality, gratitude is a state of being, out of which true happiness flows.”
Today’s action step: Think of someone you love and send them a quick text or email letting them know what you love and appreciate about them. If they are close by, go tell them right now! Make it a practice to communicate appreciation
to someone you encounter – every single day

Your next weekly honk will be sent on Monday!
Love & Light,
