Dear Graduate,
How much fun have you been having?
Remember Play Day at your Process? All the dancing and games, riding the magic carpet, a visit from Santa, and your birthday party? Six hours later you wondered where the time went? This is not to say that patterns didn’t come up. It is
life, after all. But reflect for a moment on what you enjoyed or when you became so immersed in the experience that you forgot about yourself.
Play is essential to our being. It makes us feel alive! It makes us laugh out loud. We express unselfconsciously. Play connects us to our natural creativity. If you want to understand this better watch a child at play. They do not
question their creativity – they are living it. A stick becomes a magic wand, the backyard is transformed into a planet in space, they become a sorcerer or an astronaut. Not only is it just plain fun to play, but research shows that play and laughter produce
a chemical reaction that instantly elevates your mood, reduces pain and stress, and boosts immunity. It’s much more fun than taking vitamins!
Making the time for play is a great way to connect with others, express our joy and be in the present moment. Play will also boost your energy and vitality, keeping you feeling young and energetic. Make play, laughter, and fun a priority
in your life. Why not?
Today’s action step: When you’re at home today, find a favorite song on your playlist that you love singing and dancing too. Kick off your shoes, pick up your pretend mic, and sing and dance your heart out! You’ll find that singing
and dancing feeds the soul and is a quick and wonderful way to let go of stress.

Your next weekly honk will be sent on Monday!
Love & Light,
