Today's Practice: Unprecedented
What we are experiencing is unprecedented in our modern times. There is no one on Earth who is not being impacted by what is happening. This virus has brought us together,
and is pulling us apart. It is here to teach us - offering a reset, and a new perspective on what is important in our lives.
This is what all the work we have been doing has been training us for - how to hold our light and our power in chaos and calamity.
We have practiced many times before our ability to stay grounded no matter what is going on. We have had practices sitting in peace amidst our inner turmoil, simply observing it. We have focused on what we are grateful for even when things are challenging.
All of these stressors of the past have been personal to each of us. And although many of you have written me to say how much the practices speak so personally to you - we have each been on our own journey.
Now, here we are together. The whole world experiencing the same trauma, fear and unease.
And the teachings are the same - can you hold onto your connection when others are in fear? Can you be a light in the world? Can you be of service, offering healing where healing is needed?
What is happening is unprecedented. Can you be unprecedented in your response?
