Today's Practice: Alter Your Perspective
What are you judging that could be viewed from a different perspective thus altering your relationship to it?
When we see things as clearly black and white we create limitations. In reality there are many shades of grey in between.
What appears one way to one person, may look completely different to someone else solely based on the angle they are looking at it from. Or on the life experiences they are basing their judgments on. This is how two people can watch the same film, look at the
same painting, or listen to the same song, and have completely different experiences.
Our perception is based on our perspective. And our perspective is relative to how we are viewing something. Remember this when you feel so certain about your perspective, your reality, or your understanding of something.
Today, how can you begin to alter your perspectives, having an open mind to see things differently than you might have previously?
