Today's Practice: Prepare Yourself
By committing to some sort of a practice each day, even if it is as simple as taking five minutes to ground, breathe and set your intention for the day, you gain better control of your space. Then when things come at you, you have more space to choose how to respond.
When we never slow down in our busy lives we continue accepting the punches that come at us. By taking just a few minutes each day to ground and regroup we have the ability to reset in our tool belt. The ability to pause and assess before we instantly act. When you meditate, or have a daily practice, it prepares you for life's curve balls. It gives you an access point to discern.
Take some time today to do your practice. If you don't have one, have a few deep breaths and sit under a waterfall of light, allowing it to cleanse, ground and nourish you.
