Today's Practice: It's Just Happening



Whatever you are experiencing, it is simply an experience, it isn't you.

As you begin to observe your responses, your emotions and your patterns, recognize that you are the observer, not the participant.

As you gain this awareness, you create a greater distance between you and whatever is happening, therefore you can choose more clearly how you want to respond, rather than simply responding out of reaction.

By stepping back from whatever is happening, you realize it is just happening, it isn't you it's happening to.
