Today's Practice: Expand Your Awareness



Sit for a few minutes in stillness with your eyes closed. Just being present...

Slowly open your eyes and look around you. Look at shapes. Look at color. Notice details on the wall you may have daily overlooked. Notice your senses. 

Breathe. 

Then close your eyes and do it again. Get still. Breathe. Then open your eyes and notice your surroundings. Notice things that you have never seen before. Simply become aware. 

You can only expand your awareness if you are present.
