Might find this interesting. Have a great weekend!😃🙏
“As long as someone’s referencing their previous self, their childhood, as a reference point for who they can become, they’re going to be extremely limited, and their potential is going to be shot.
I had to realize that it wasn’t unethical or out of integrity to release whoever I used to be, that I wasn’t obligated to anyone to stay a certain way. None of my relationships needed me to stay who I was.
No one in my life can guilt me into staying a sort of person, if I don’t want to be that person anymore.” - Brian Koehn
Imagine that you find yourself at a crossroads, where everything in your life- your work, spiritual beliefs, friends, mentors, all told you that a certain path was the right one for you to take.
Only your instincts told you otherwise.
What would be going through your mind?
How would you react in a situation like this?
Growing up a mischievous skater kid in a small town in the Midwest, Brian Koehn was never one to fit into everyone else’s labels so neatly. He wanted more out of life, no matter what anyone else thought was “reasonable” for him to do.
When everything in his world told him who he should be, Brian decided he wouldn’t give in. Rather, he set out to build a new world for himself: an environment where he could live on his terms, in congruence with his values.
In the process of navigating the many crossroads on this journey, Brian became incredibly skilled at reinventing himself towards success.
