Today's Practice: Thoughts
Your thoughts are just thoughts. They are not real. They do not represent what is necessarily true. Sometimes they may seem accurate, but that does not make them so.
So where do thoughts come from? Some come from our memories, some are born out of fear. Some are not even our own, rather gifted to us by others.
Just because you think something does not mean you must act upon it.
Allow yourself to be separate from your thoughts, and even from your beliefs. Observe them as clouds passing by rather than waves you must ride.
Today, recognize that you are not your thoughts.
