Pam,I just googled to find out what it was your son was going to discuss (taped the show but haven’t watched it but intend to asap). I rarely post hot button topics, political things, etc on FB but I went to see Michael Franit’s movie “Staying Human.” a week ago Monday. He spoke after. It inspired me to get off my ass and do something to help with what is happening in our country in the area of gun violence. Your son has given me both an action to take and more reason to do what I can as 1 person.I for one admire him. I did before but now he’s gone and done it again!! I can’t imagine having a young child in school and it not be a place they feel safe or that I would feel safe leaving them is becoming a norm here in the USA. That is only 1 of the horrible effects of what’s taking place. Definitely seems like it going to take a life time to master my emotions, some more than others.
It makes me wonder if we can really create a reality that will not allow hurt to show up in our/my life regardless of others actions. Sometimes I wish I had God like power to not be affected by others.

Blake will be on Jimmy Fallon tonight. Please pray (Proverbs 3:5-6) for Blake today. This is going to be a VERY controversial subject and I honesty don't know how it will be received. Tyler is completely against it and Blake is very passionate about his decision. As their parents, we have once again been put in the middle of a huge family battle. Today's Practice: Worrying
Don't take it all so seriously. Worrying, stressing, getting upset - doesn't serve you or anyone else.
When you find yourself thinking about what you don't want. Pause, pull back, and focus on an aligned outcome.
I once heard someone say, "Worrying is praying for what you don't want." When we think and worry we give energy to that which we do not want. When you find yourself doing this, it is up to you to pull out, to pull back, to redirect your attention and intention.
